Dear Woman

I saw a post of on Facebook of a poem from this book written by Michael Reid and I had just had to find more of his stuff. Lucky for me he had a book! Dear Mr. Reid at first I felt a little taken back by a man saying some of these things. But you always explained yourself and I was able to understand that you have a lot of wisdom and knowledge on what it is to be a woman. Thank you for writing this book. It was very inspirational. I plan to read it again, especially the poetry. So people read it, definitely give it a try. You won't regret it.

Inspirational

I was first turned to this book from a picture on Twitter, it was a picture of one of the pages, and that picture alone spoke to me in so many ways that I had to give he book a chance. I am so happy that I did, this book provoked so many thoughts that I have had but never dared to articulate. There are also many poems that I believe that I was in denial about some of the things that Mike talks about in Dear Woman. I did realize how much that I related to everything he was saying, he truly inspired me to be a better stronger woman for the future. Mike spoke directly to my heart and I would recommend this book to anyone that needs a little truth and inspiration in their life.

I cried, laughed got upset , got angry and calmed my ass right bk down... each page spoke to me. I felt my wounds open up and I felt them heal and I am grateful that for the first time I experienced closure ...Thank you Michael Reid I started this journey all alone but now I have your words to keep me company .
